Network & Datacenter

Awknet specializes in offering DoS/DDoS protection services. We utilize state of the art filtering techniques on our multi-gigabit equipped network to identify and deny DoS/DDoS traffic, before it can disrupt normal traffic.

Datacenter: Awknets equipment is located in the Telecom Center at 530 W 6th street, downtown Los Angeles. The facility uses multiple redundant state of the art power and cooling units to ensure smooth operation. Security is ensured via 24/7 security staff at the door, keycode entry to the floor, biometric and keycode entry into the datacenter space, and key access to each suite. Awknet has expansion space on multiple floors.

Network: Awknet utilizes all gigabit and ten-gigabit ethernet equipment to connect to the internet. All customer servers are connected via 100Mbps dedicated ports. This ensures customers will not experience any internal network bottlenecks common with other providers. We have two seperate networks built around different customer needs. Our DDoS network specializes in Denial of Service Protection and IRC or other high risk services. Our premium network specializes in low latency and diverse internet routes for maximum reach. Customers will see traffic over carriers such as Xeex, PCCW, Mzima, Linkline, Cogent, and many others via peering on the Any2 and Equinix internet exchanges.
